The Contour Abs, also known as the Contour core sculpting system, or the contour belt is an electronic ab toning belt that uses ‘swiss wave’ technology to stimulate you abs, and help you build a more toned midsection.
The contour abs is the biggest selling ab toner on the market today in the USA, due mainly to all the infomercials that run for the product on late night tv. The big questions are, does the contour abs work or is the contour abs a scam?
I decided to do a complete contour abs review to help people who have seen the infomercials on tv and are tempted to buy one. So, read this review before you buy a contour abs!
Does the contour abs work?
The contour abs will stimulate your abs with tiny electronic pulses so they will ‘work’ like when you do crunches – but the settings on the contour are very limited when compared to other ab toners, and the pulse strength is much weaker. So, the results you get will take longer to achieve. I give the contour abs a mark of: 2/5
How much does the contour abs cost?
Contour abs is pretty much the most expensive ab toner on the market. A lot of people are caught out on the price, not realising that in addition to the $14.95 ‘free trial’ fee, there are also four payments of $50 to pay, and also shipping! So, a total price of over $225 – not such good value as it seemed to begin with! Value for money is bad, so I give the contour abs a mark of: 2/5
Can the contour abs help me lose weight?
The makers of the contour abs claim that using their product can help you lose up to 3 inches of belly fat. Is this possible? No, not just from using the ab toner alone. To see the full effects of your ab belt you need to cut belly fat first, by exercising and eating better. I give a mark of 1/5 since losing weight just from the contour abs is not possible.
Is the contour abs good quality?
Contour abs ab toner is not really very good quality, no. The components are cheap and do not seem like they would last long. The contour abs I ordered for myself and my wife to use actually broke after just 3 weeks. I give the contour abs 2/5 for quality.
Overall conclusion:
My overall view of the contour abs is that its not a very good product, its too much money to be considered good value given that it is not the most advanced ems ab toner on the market. My overall score for the contour abs review is just 7/20.
I don’t recommend this product, as there are much better alternatives for similar or less money, like the flex belt, that perform better and are much better quality, and as a result give much better results in a shorter time.
